Nachtseide is a small Swiss brand – founded on a simple question: why is it so hard to find out whether you're really buying silk?

The market is full of “silk pillowcases” that are actually polyester, and momme claims nobody checks. We do it differently: we tell you exactly what you're buying – 22 momme, grade 6A, from OEKO-TEX® certified production – and we show you how to check it yourself. Weigh it, feel it, hold a thread to a flame.

Our pieces are made in Suzhou – the centre of mulberry silk for centuries – and stored, checked and shipped by us in Switzerland. No customs, no waiting, no surprises.
